What is Christian Salvation?
Salvation is the best thing that can happen to a human being.
But Christian “salvation” can be misunderstood as a one-time event. It’s not.
Instead, salvation is a three-phase sequence of justification, sanctification, and glorification. Using these terms without explanation is bound to confuse new Christians.

Salvation: Then, Now, Forever
Christian salvation is not a single event (justification). Instead, salvation is a three-stage chronology. These consecutive stages prepare us for heaven, where we will be in God’s presence forever.
Step 1: Inward and Outward Confession
"If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" - Romans 10:9
Step 2: Prayer to Salvation
Dear Lord,
I know that I am a sinner and ask for your forgiveness. I believe that You died on the Cross to take the punishment for my sins. Today I want to turn away from my sins and dedicate my life to follow you. Please come into my heart and life. And right now I receive your gift of the Holy Spirit in my life and the promise of eternal life.
I will trust you as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus Name, Amen.
